So... as far as the 'dating game' goes... I might be a little out of touch ;) This is not to say that im unsociable though.. far from it.
Im not from Edinburgh originally but was born and bred in the North West Highlands.
I have a number of hobbies and interests, but my main passions lie with music, both listening to and playing, and my motorcycle :) I enjoy sailing... although don't get much chance here in Edinburgh. I play badminton regularly and enjoy a bit of running to keep fit (not fanatically mind you!). Love good food.... and I guess i'm not too shabby in the kitchen.
I see myself as being a fairly considerate kinda guy.... not really hugely into watching sports on tv, you know, the whole football / rugby thing.... its neve...

I am a friedly person with an optimistic view in difficult times.
I'm an easy going person, I love having fun and making people laugh. Love going out to good restaurants or pubs but equally happy to have a night in with a dvd.
My interests vary from going to the gym and mucking around on the pc. I want to see the world and learn new skills, meet new people and just make the most of life trying new things as I go.
I am a big kid at heart but can be serious when the need arises (sometimes). I try to see the fun side in everything and if I can't then I aint gonna worry or stress over it as life too short to be depressed and I spent years playing that game and I aint ever going back!

Well, here I am, on a dating site, brilliant!
Don't pay too much attention to the bands or authors I filled in, I just checked a few boxes to allow me to sign up. For example; I'm not into mainstream music, or fiction, so those choices don't really count. However, I did my best, for example, I liked the Electro that Dr Dre was producing in the '80s, but not keen on his current hiphop stuff, on the same token, I like oldskool hiphop from the '70s & early '80s, but the current stuff makes me want to jump off a tall building. So again, don't pay too much attention to my choices.
Again with the dating choices, I picked pretty much every option, as I don't know what I'm looking for until I find it.

I'm not particularly good at this as I'm a little out of practice when it comes to talking about myself. I guess you could say I'm shy but I've been working at that. It may take a little while for me to come out of my shell but I believe I have a fair amount of interesting stories and experiences to share.
I'm a fairly laid back guy, who is rarely fazed, even when I've done some rather crazy things like sky diving. I enjoy listening to others and am always willing to help people out even if I don't know them. I'd rather put myself out than trouble others. I don't like to go on about being self sacrificing or anything, but I have done I guess. I'm apparently very punctual and reliable. Which is good in a way... until everyone wants favor...
